When what
has been done
never seems enough
Working hard.
Solving, adjusting, holding what needs to be held.
The business keeps moving.
And still, there is the feeling that something is missing.
The gaze goes straight to the next problem, the next pending issue, what did not work.
What has already been done passes quickly and barely counts.
Over time, this becomes routine.
A lot of work gets done, but the sense of progress does not follow.
There is movement, but no arrival.
This pattern does not come from lack of care.
It forms when attention is always directed toward preventing something from failing.
What is missing weighs more than what has already been built.
The cost appears gradually.
Difficulty recognizing one’s own work.
Little satisfaction.
A constant sense of being behind.
Noticing this is not about changing things now.
It is about noticing how attention has been used.

A question to keep with you
At what point does what you do stop feeling like enough?
If this causes some discomfort, that’s okay.
Noticing comes before reorganizing.
